BURN THE TAPE: Mighty Ducks Episode 8
The Emilio and the Estevez, 2 Emilio 2 Estevez, Emilio & Estevez, Emilio Five, Emilio & Estevez 6, The Emilio and the Estevez: Tokyo Drift, Estevez 7, The Fate of the Estevez
We’re back with another episode of Mighty Ducks: Game Changers. I’ve got some good news: Including today, there are only three episodes left. I’m feeling okay about this one, I put my Mighty Ducks sweater back on to get in the mood. Let’s hope this isn’t naive of me like in the last episode.
Let’s recap: Alex and Emilio Estevez are gonna fuck any day now, Emilio Estevez is an assistant coach, the team somehow won another game. That’s all you need to know.
Episode 8: Change on the Fly
The episode starts off with Nick scoring his first goal which is a buzzer-beater game-winner. His lesbian moms are very happy. This show has a lot of buzzer-beater game-winners. How often do they think this actually happens?
Didn’t realize Johnny Gaudreau was cast in this show.
Side note, I think Emilio Estevez got a blowout or something for this episode. His hair looks a lot bigger and softer.
Apparently, if the Don’t Bothers win their next six games, they can secure the second-place spot for States. Alex is letting the wins get to her head. Throughout the episode, they won a bunch of games and now they’re only one win away.
Wow shocking, the Don’t Bothers scored yet another game-winning buzzer-beater. It was this new move Logan (young Willy Nylander-looking kid) and Emilio Estevez had been working on.
The team basically tricked Alex into letting Logan on the ice because, again, she let things go to her head and lost their “putting fun first” motto. So they distracted her and got Logan in the final play after she said no, and they won with his new move. Even though they won and are going to States, she’s mad. The episode ends with Evan saying he has to fire his mom.
Recap/thoughts
Sure, I guess this episode had more action than the last, but I don’t know, if anybody else is watching this show, is anyone else just kind of bored by it? Whatever, I’m glad they won, very unpredictable, by the way.
Anyways, glad there are only two more episodes. Also, I know I said this in like episode 1, but Emilio Estevez has gotten much worse at acting.
