Hello, readers. In lieu of the recent aggression and acts of violence from the Israeli government towards the people of Hamas and the Gaza Strip, we have decided to forgo this week’s issue. During such a serious time of cruel injustice happening, it does not seem right to go along with our usual comedic newsletters. All of us here at Scorchstack strongly condemn the ruthless, abhorrent, and extremely disgusting acts of violence currently being committed by Israel towards the Palestinians with the support of Zionists.
If you are unfamiliar with what is happening in Palestine, the Human Rights Watch recently published a report about the Israeli Authorities and the Crimes of Apartheid and Persecution. Beyond that, you can learn more about what is happening by clicking here.
If you are able, please donate to these repositories for global initiatives, funds, organizations, and other resources for a liberated and peaceful Palestine.

From Konnie:
As well, the city of Kazan, Russia — my hometown— has been recently been devastated by a school shooting. During classes, a gunman walked into School No. 175 and took the lives of nine people, including seven children, one teacher, and one school worker. Please stand with us in solidarity to condemn these horrid attacks on innocent people.
